Jon Schoeffel is a board certified and licensed Physician Assistant with a Doctor of Medical Science degree and fellowship training in Sports Medicine. He specializes in clinical and surgical management of hip and knee disorders, sports medicine, and general orthopaedics.

He works closely with Dr. Manson and Dr. Schroder, focusing on total joint replacements and revisions. He assists with surgeries at University of Maryland St. Josephs Medical Center, Ruxton Surgicenter, Surgery Center of Bel Air.

Education & Memberships

Jon graduated from James Madison University with a double major in Biology and Health Sciences. He went on to pursue his passion for medicine working as a Medical Assistant and Radiology Technician in an Orthopaedic practice prior to earning his Master of PA Medicine degree from Lynchburg College (now University of Lynchburg). He then completed his doctoral training through Lynchburg College graduating with a Doctor of Medical Science degree and a fellowship in Orthopaedics with a focus in Sports Medicine.

He is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, Maryland Academy of Physician Assistants, and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
