A great experience!! I called at 8am about my son’s possible broken wrist, I was called back about 15 minutes later and was able to get a same day appointment. When we arrived everything was organized and efficient. Dr McCambridge was so kind and gentle with my son. It took around 45-50 minutes to get X-rays, diagnosis and cast placed. I can’t say enough about our experience with Dr McCambridge. She is amazing. My 14 year old received the wrong diagnosis and was getting the wrong treatment- delaying her time on the playing field. This whole medical group is fantastic. My son needed to be seen asap so the squeezed him in. Unfortunately he needed surgery so the surgeon came in as well to discuss the next steps. Absolutely everyone in this office was a pleasure to work with. When first calling, the Dr I was scheduling with wasn't available for a while. So she put out an email to the office and was able to be seen by another Dr in the practice the same day! The PA(or MA - didn't quite catch his title) took his time evaluating my daughter and actually took the time to address her pain seriously. Dr McCambridge was no less attentive. We saw Dr. Mccambridge twice after my eleven year old broke two phalanx on two separate occasions. Dr. Exhibits the perfect mix of professionalism and compassion. Despite dealing with a nearly hysterical youth who chose to have a bone reset without first being numbed, Dr. Mccambridge was patient, compassionate, calm, clear, concise and sympathetic toward parent and child. We love Dr McCambridge! She is very knowledgeable, kind, personable, and just lovely! We met her in the fall, when my youngest son broke his arm in football. She answered all his questions and he was able to play the last couple games of football! We are currently seeing her now because my older son broke his ankle while running in the mud! Again, she answered all his questions. Her office got us in within a day and they scheduled our follow up appt before we left. All of her staff is very friendly!! Competing year round in track and field and fall football, my son is a frequent flier with Dr. McCambridge. I cannot begin to tell you how amazing her and her staff in Towson are each time we are there. It’s almost as if no one ever has a bad day. Always friendly. Always kind.We have had many same day appointments and NEVER wait. We come in, go to X-ray (most of the time), and she is immediately in the room with diagnosis. Her estimated recovery time is always accurate. She has brought my boy back to a top athlete through every injury. After being told the wrong thing at an urgent care due to a fall at skate land. Dr.McCambridge quickly found out that my daughter had hurt herself way more then I thought. The staff here are wonderful, and made my 3yo feel safe and comfortable while treating her broken ulna. Dr. McCambridge is very caring and sat with my daughter during the x-rays, as I couldn't at nearly 8mos pregnant. My daughter was so enamored with Mr. Ray (who made her cast) that her and her older brother (who never even met Mr. Ray) have incorporated him into their pretend play.
