Dr. Steele specializes in hip and knee replacement and is committed to providing excellent, comprehensive care to those with hip and knee arthritis. He utilizes state of the art techniques and technology including robotic surgery, partial knee replacement, anterior hip replacement and postoperative pain control techniques in a patient-centered approach to provide personalized care to all patients.
His clinical and research interests include hip and knee replacement, revision hip and knee replacement, partial knee replacement, direct anterior hip replacement, and rapid recovery after hip and knee replacement.
Dr. Steele received his medical degree from Georgetown University and completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Duke University Medical Center. He then completed an additional one-year fellowship in total joint replacement at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City, the #1 ranked orthopedic hospital in the country. There he gained expertise in hip and knee replacement, revision hip and knee replacement, partial knee replacement, direct anterior hip replacement, and robotic surgery.
Dr. Steele is a member of the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons. He has many peer-reviewed publications on hip and knee replacement and orthopedic surgery.
